Pitt Johnstown Men's Swimming

The UPJ Men's Golf team is midway through the 2025-2026 season. The Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats are looking to build momentum off their successful fall season where the team had a lot of success During the fall 2025 season, the team had four top 3 finishes including 2 runner-ups and a team win at the Hannastown Intercollegiate. Griffin Hansberry was individual medalist at the Hannastown Intercollegiate and Eli Ropietski became the first Mountain Cat Golfer to earn medalist honors at the PSAC Championship to conclude the fall season.

The team qualified for the NCAA DII Atlantic-East Super Regionals in 2022, 2024 and 2025 and are looking to make their third consecutive appearance during the 2025-2026 season. The program has been ranked as high as #2 in the Atlantic Region and #60 in the nation so far this season.

All the improvements and standard upkeep to our on-campus practice facilities would not be possible without your support! We continue to appreciate the generosity that our golf program receives from alumni, family, friends and our amazing community. All funds raised through Pitt Day of Giving will provide our student-athletes with additional opportunities. Specifically - the money will go directly towards making improvements and maintaining our indoor practice facilities.

Social Work Global Experiences

The continued uncertainties in our world have created disruptions and hardships for many people, including our students. In addition to their school expenses, students have had to address unexpected costs—like housing expenses, medical necessities, and food insecurity.

A gift to the unrestricted fund provides emergency support for students in need and benefits other priority areas of impact at the school, including community engagement programs, student research awards and racial equity work on and off campus.

Wyoming Field Studies Program

“The Spring Creek Reserve knocks students out of their comfort zones and allows them to grow intellectually through challenging and rewarding field research. In the 3 year I have run projects there, I have watched students embrace the outdoors, hike farther than they thought possible, ignore digital distractions for hours on end, and literally get their hands dirty by collecting data. We don't have anything like this in Pittsburgh and are exceptionally fortunate to have this space in Wyoming.”
