Pitt Robotics and Automation Society

We are the Pitt Robotics and Automation Society (RAS), a student-run club that aims to provide its members with hands-on experience in robotics. Through our club, motivated individuals are given the tools and resources to develop cutting-edge autonomous robots. Our club was founded in 2013 and since then we've been able to work on many robots from maze navigating robots to autonomous drones and racecars, and now an autonomous Mars rover! We are currently working on a miniature combative robot, 6 axis robotic arm, and more.

From Pitt Day of Giving, we hope to raise more funds to support our club's endeavors. We aim to use these funds to increase the complexity of our robotic projects, and equip our members to have hands on experiences to make them competitive in industry. With more funds for better projects, this will allow our members to represent Pitt at national and international robotics competitions to flex the knowledge we have gained at Pitt.

If you are interested in supporting advanced, hands-on projects for engineering students, or if you are interested in contributing to accelerating robotics education at Pitt, or if you want to see your investment reflected in projects that solve real world problems, donate to Pitt RAS!
