Ballet Club at Pitt

We are an entirely student-run dance club, focused primarily on ballet, with about 130 students participating this semester. We offer dance opportunities for everyone, from first-time beginners wanting to explore dance at college, to advanced dancers who have been dancing since they were three! Ballet Club’s main purpose is to offer a welcoming space for current students who wish to continue or establish a love for dance.

Our mission is to provide our Pitt community with an affordable way to experience classical ballet. The donations received from Pitt Day of Giving will go directly towards costume and production costs for our upcoming Spring 2025 Performance of "Wizard of Oz" and our yearly fall production of “The Nutcracker”. We are beyond fortunate to have our club grow year after year, and are in need of more costume pieces to accommodate for all our members. We also intend to use donated funds to pay for the photography/videography for our shows and to continue to provide performance opportunities for our dancers. Overall, the money donated will help keep membership dues at a low, affordable cost to ensure that anyone who wants to dance in college is able to participate!

We would greatly appreciate any donations to support our dancers so we can help continue to bring the performing arts into the Pitt community in an affordable and accessible way!
