Center for Urban Education Fund

Founded in 2003, the Center for Urban Education (CUE) is dedicated to supporting urban communities by enhancing educational experiences and examining the broader social systems that shape learning. CUE serves as a collaborative space where educators, students, and communities come together to reimagine and improve education.

Your philanthropic gift will directly support CUE's research, service, and knowledge-sharing efforts across our three key areas:

  • Community Partnership & Engagement
  • Educator Development & Practice
  • Student Academic & Social Development

For over 20 years, CUE has made a lasting impact in Pittsburgh through initiatives such as the annual CUE Summer Educator Forum (CUESEF), MathUp Connections, #CUETalks Lecture Series, Food for Thought and more. With your support, we can continue to expand these programs and create meaningful change in education.

Help Us Unlock Additional Funding!

We've received a Directors' challenge from our current Interim Co-Directors, Dr. Lori Delale-O'Connor and Dr. Sirry Alang: If we reach 25 donors, they will each contribute $250 to CUE. Additionally, Dr. John Wilds (MEd '70, PhD '78) will unlock an additional $2,000 if we reach 35 donors!

Your contribution- no matter the size- moves us closer to unlocking these funds and making a lasting difference. Join us in transforming education today!
