Chinese American Students Association (CASA)

CASA at Pitt's mission is to promote the understanding and knowledge of Chinese (particularly Chinese American) culture on Pitt’s campus through events, fundraisers, and more. We also have the CASA Fund Foundation (CFF) where we provide monetary support to non-profit organizations outside of the University. As an organization that strives to support Pitt's Chinese American community, we ensure that the community we create is inclusive, supportive, harmonious, and enriching.

With your donations, we would be able to significantly enhance our efforts. This includes supporting our vibrant events for Pitt's large student body. These events encompass celebrations of major Chinese holidays, such as Mid-Autumn and Lunar New Year, culturally relevant experiences like our annual Night Market, and insightful workshops featuring speakers like CookingBomb, Comedian Joe Wong, and the Fung Bros. Furthermore, your support will empower our advocacy efforts, covering crucial topics such as the importance of safe cultural spaces, the challenges faced by aging populations in Asian communities, and the evolving role of Chinatowns in the U.S.

The gift you give to our group will push us further in fulfilling our mission for Pitt's community and ultimately benefit the entire student body. Every contribution, regardless of size, is invaluable and deeply appreciated. We eagerly anticipate the achievements we can accomplish together!
