Dick Thornburgh Forum for Law & Public Policy
Dick
Thornburgh served as former U.S. Attorney General, United Nations
Under-Secretary General, two-term Governor of Pennsylvania, U.S. Attorney and
is the namesake of the Dick Thornburgh Forum for Law & Public Policy. His legacy may have been best captured in the
words of Dick himself: “My zeal and
enthusiasm for public office have always been rooted in my belief that serving
on behalf of others is the highest calling possible.” The Dick Thornburgh
Forum, as a keeper of that legacy, continues to offer an impressive array of
free and open-to-the-public programs and other initiatives shaped by the belief
that good governance, sound policy and a commitment to the greater good can be
effectively nurtured through thought-provoking programs of education offered to
students and other members of the University community, as well as the general
public.
