Pitt Public Health Scholarship Fund
The value of a degree at Pitt Public Health cannot be measured in dollars and cents, but cost is an essential factor that determines where students may pursue an academic degree. The Pitt Public Health Scholarship Fund is an ideal way for donors to make gifts of any size to help ensure the continued success of the school and its students.
As you may know, today's students are under more pressure than ever to balance the costs of graduate study with the goal of making a difference in society's health and well-being. In fact, we know that nearly 50 percent of students who turn down acceptance to Pitt Public Health cite cost and the need for financial aid. While Pitt Public Health cannot guarantee funding for every student, the school provided more than $5 million in financial aid to graduate students in 2022. Almost all Pitt Public Health doctoral students and many master’s students receive some type of financial aid, whether in the form of full or partial scholarships, fellowships, student assistantships, student employment or student loans.
As we celebrate our 75th anniversary, our goal is to increase student support to ensure that Pitt Public Health remains competitive and enrolls tomorrow's best and brightest public health leaders!
