GSPIA Internship Fund - Support Student Experiences

GSPIA students pursue fantastic internships that offer invaluable, practical learning opportunities during their time at the school. Despite their incredible value, a number of these internships are unpaid, and some students must grapple with decision of whether they can accept the ideal internship due to financial concerns.

Gifts to the GSPIA Internship Resource Fund allow us to provide financial grants to students who apply.

Your gift will help support students such as Erin Zehr (pictured in our campaign photo) who completed a dream internship in Kenya last summer to conduct research on community-managed water systems.

"My internship brought together a lot of elements of my GSPIA education and solidified the importance of my work in the governance and international public management concentration. That's something I want to continue to focus on moving forward. The fact that so many internships are unpaid can be a stumbling block and hurdle for a lot of students, so I'm extremely grateful that this experience was made feasible for me because of the funding provided by donors." - Erin Zehr, MPIA '24
