For more than 30 years, the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence (IEE) has opened countless windows of opportunity for entrepreneurs across Western PA and has fueled economic growth throughout the Commonwealth. This year we are striving to direct our funds to one area that will make the most impact: by supporting the IEE during Pitt Day of Giving, your generosity will contribute to the IEE’s ongoing efforts helping minority, diverse, and disadvantaged businesses from historically underserved communities in our region.

In the past year we’ve impacted many, whether through our continued success in our Urban & Community Entrepreneurship Program’s (UCEP) Community Power to Prosper program, providing programing for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs in their native language, connecting minority business owners in various industries to contract opportunities, or no-cost business consulting support for small business owners. These efforts contribute to a more inclusive, equitable, and competitive economic landscape for our region.
