Every year, the Medical Alumni Association awards two exceptional first-year medical students with $40,000 scholarships. The scholarships are given out in increments over the course of their tenure at Pitt Med as they pursue their MD degree.

Financially supported by dedicated alumni and friends, medical school scholarships help cover the cost of tuition for students to allow them to focus more fully on their medical education and take advantage of the many research and clinical experiences offered at Pitt Med with more ease of mind about their finances.
