Support the Medical Scientist Training Program General Education Fund
Our Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) continues to grow and develop--we currently have 112 MD-PhD students, half of whom are women. In addition to our highly successful curriculum, we have integrated professional coaches into our structure to build resiliency and strategic planning skills. Roughly 80 percent of our students now garner NIH funding for their predoctoral grant proposals, and their research achievements regularly garnish the very top-tier journals. We are dedicated to the long-term success of our students, and we count on your support to make this happen.
"The continued success of our programs relies on attracting and retaining the most exceptional candidates to follow in the footsteps of our alumni. We must ensure that our trainees have the skills not only to persist in their challenging careers but to thrive. Your support will help to support our trainees on a sustained physician scientist path, building the MSTP community and ushering ongoing discoveries into the world." -- Richard Steinman, MD, PhD, Associate Dean and Director, Medical Scientist Training Program
Your support helps to sustain and enhance our educational program and ensure a supportive experience for our students pursuing careers as physician scientists.
