The Office for Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (OEDI) strives to advance Pitt’s efforts to embed diversity as a transformational force in academic excellence and professional growth through education, the celebration of diversity, and the fair and objective response to complaints and concerns. Gifts to this fund will aid the university in its efforts to create an equitable, diverse, and inclusive campus.

Why are donations necessary?
Your gifts to the Office for Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion help support our increased outreach to marginalized communities. They support programs to make students from under-represented communities feel a stronger sense of belonging. They help fund efforts to reduce or eliminate sexual and gender-based violence.
Your gifts also help sustain our signature events, such as Black History Month programming in February and Women’s History Month in March. All of these things lead to better educational outcomes for students at the University of Pittsburgh. Together, they make Pitt stronger.
