Pitt Johnstown is a Division II institution in one of the
most competitive DII conferences in the NCAA. Pitt Johnstown boasts of 15
different programs. Men’s Teams: baseball, basketball, cross country, golf,
soccer, indoor/outdoor track & field, and wrestling; and Women’s Teams:
softball, basketball, cross country, soccer, indoor/outdoor track & field,
and volleyball. Our athletes continue to compete at a high level while earning
a degree in the rigor of a Pitt education. Our student-athletes are majoring in
a variety of fields including engineering, education, and nursing being the
most popular. Our scholarship fund and what we can offer to student athletes is
what keeps our institution competitive in our conference, the PSAC, and
Division II.
Our goal is to continue the tradition of excellence and
family that we have established here as Mountain Cats. We are very excited
about the Pitt Day of Giving campaign whose mission is to help our student
athletes continue to learn through academic and athletic success. Under the
leadership of President Jem Spectar, our athletic programs are continuing to
grow in all three major areas: Staff, Facilities, and Scholarship.
The Pitt Day of Giving campaign is working along with the
University to help continue growth in those areas and to continue this
tradition of excellence.
We encourage you to be “Mountain Cat Proud” by providing
support to the Mountain Cat Athletic Scholarship Fund and urge you to help
spread the word about the great things happening at the University of
Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
