Women's Club Ice Hockey at Pitt
Women’s Club Ice Hockey at
Pitt is the university’s student-run women’s club hockey organization competing
at the ACHA D2 level. Our players, families, and friends have an unparalleled
love and passion for this sport like no other, and with the help of Pitt Day of
Giving, we hope to see our organization thrive. The impact of Pitt Day of
Giving will allow our members more opportunities to grow as hockey players both
on and off the ice, as the funding will help us pay for things like the cost of
ice time for practice, referees and EMTs for games, and travel. This year, our
players may even have the opportunity to make it to the ACHA D2 Nationals in
St. Louis, Missouri, and funding through Pitt Day of Giving would give us the
funds for the travel, stay, and many other fees that come with going to
Nationals. Any funds not used over the course of this season will be used to
support our current and future players next season as well, by providing
funding for new jerseys and equipment and potentially lowering dues for our
players. By making a gift to our group, all of us at Pitt Women’s Club Ice
Hockey hope that you’d also like to see our team thrive and hope for our
success just as much as we do.
