Women's Rugby Football Club at Pitt

Hello, we are Women’s Rugby Football Club at Pitt! We compete at the D1 level, providing an inclusive and supportive environment for Pitt students to grow and connect as athletes and as individuals.

Our rugby team numbers have grown immensely in size in the last three years. Thanks to student leadership, dedicated coaches, and alumni support, we have been able to build a strong, close-knit team of over 50 members. Three nights a week, we meet at facilities on campus for practice. Here, we work on our strength, conditioning, and individual skills, led by our coaches and captains. On weekends, we travel across the region to compete with teams like Kent State, Cornell, and West Virginia University. We have competitive seasons in both the fall and spring, playing teams in 15s matches and 7s tournaments.

This Pitt Day of Giving, we are asking you to consider supporting our rugby team! Your donation would ensure we can continue to remain a competitive team in our conference. Specifically, your contributions will help cover travel, equipment, coaching, and operational costs. Thank you for supporting Women’s Rugby Football Club at Pitt!
