Heinz Memorial Chapel

Last year Heinz Memorial Chapel celebrated the 85th anniversary of its opening and dedication. The Chapel proudly continues to be a vital part of the University and the Pittsburgh community providing services, a place of quiet contemplation, private and public events, historic and educational tours and more.

Today, on Pitt Day of Giving, you can help us continue to make an impact on all those who enter its magnificent red doors and take in its remarkable architectural and spiritual significance. Your Pitt Day of Giving donation marked for Heinz Chapel will allow administration to embark on several projects, including preservation of the oak pews and other detailed woodwork, the Reuter pipe organ, and the famous Charles J. Connick stained-glass windows. By addressing these projects now, we can be certain that this masterpiece will endure for many more decades.
