WPU Banner Signing

If you are a student looking to support Pitt Day of Giving, visit Towers Lobby on February 13^th between 11am-2pm to sign the Pitt Day of Giving banner which will hang from the William Pitt Union! The banner will be hung on February 20^th and will stay through the 28^th.

Philanthropy Mini Fest

Following the tremendous success of the Philanthropy Mini Fest’s inaugural year in 2023, the event is making a return! Come visit the William Pitt Union Ballroom on February 26^th to continue the Pitt Day of Giving festivities with our Philanthropy Mini Fest, featuring a number of participating Pitt Day of Giving student organizations who make an impact in our community. There will be free food, activities, swag, and a chance to support your favorite participating organizations!

Find-A-Panther

Search for one of our plush Pitt Panthers around the Pittsburgh campus on Tuesday, February 27^th – the day of PDoG! Once you find one, scan the QR code attached to the keepsake to reveal a spotlight of a Pitt graduate. Because of that alum’s support, you can choose any organization participating in Pitt Day of Giving to receive $50. Meet us in the Connolly Ballroom starting at 5:30pm for the PDoG Party where you can join in the fun and get a chance to potentially meet the alum who sponsored the plush Pitt Panther you found!

Pitt Pantry Donation and Sock Giveaway

Bring a canned good or non-perishable item to the Alumni Hall Connolly Ballroom between 10am and the end of the PDoG Party to receive a free pair of Pitt Day of Giving socks (while supplies last). All of the canned goods and donated items will support the Pitt Pantry!
As a helpful guide for target donation items, the Pitt Pantry is very interested in receiving:
· Paper products, such as tissues, toilet paper, paper towels
· Items for people with dietary restrictions, such as ones that are gluten-free, halal, vegan, etc.
· Culturally diverse food items (Asian, African, Latin, etc.)
· Shelf-stable beverages including juice and milk (i.e. boxed milk made to fit inside lunch boxes with a straw attached to its side)
· Healthy food items

Faculty & Staff Stations

Calling all Pitt Faculty and Staff! Visit one of our Faculty & Staff Stations to ask questions about Pitt Day of Giving, make a gift to your favorite participating area of Pitt, and pick up a free Faculty & Staff duffel bag (while supplies last). Station locations include the PAA Lobby, WPU Lobby, Scaife Food Court, Cathedral Commons Room, and home plate in Posvar Hall.

C4C Karaoke Toast

C4C: The Understory (CL B-50) 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

It's karaoke. It's toast. Celebrate Pitt Day of Giving with the Center for Creativity, vintage karaoke, and warm, crisp bread with an array of creative toppings. All Pitt students, faculty, and staff are welcome to come sing, eat, and share the fun.

PDoG Party

Come to the Alumni Hall Connolly Ballroom on Pitt Day of Giving starting at 5:30pm for food, fun, a basketball game watch, and prizes! Get your photo taken with Roc, play games with the Oakland Zoo, write thank you cards to donors, cheer on your Pitt Panthers Men’s Basketball team as they play Clemson, and much more.
