Pitt Global

The award-winning University Center for International Studies (UCIS) leads the University of Pittsburgh’s global programs and partnerships.

United under the Pitt Global name, UCIS advances the University’s global vision, offers global experiences on campus and abroad, and supports multidisciplinary research with global impact.

The unit is home to Pitt’s global and area studies centers, international funding for students and faculty, study abroad and away programs, services for international students and scholars, global operations support, international programs for K-12 schools, and the world-renowned Nationality Rooms.

This year, Pitt Global has decided to highlight an important fund here at the University of Pittsburgh:

The Carol Larson Endowed Fund provides meaningful financial aid for University of Pittsburgh students to participate in intercultural learning experiences abroad. Named in memory of a longtime leader of the Pitt Global Experiences Office (PittGEO, formerly Pitt Abroad), this fund directly supports undergraduate education abroad experiences this Day of Giving.

Learn more below about the feature fund and all of the important ways your generosity can make an impact across UCIS, the Pitt community, and the world. Your gifts directly help students in need.
