The University Center for International Studies/Pitt Global creates the next generation of global citizens, forges global partnerships, and enhances global understanding through experiential learning abroad, interdisciplinary teaching and research, and community engagement. This year we are highlighting the Nationality Council Centennial Award Fund as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Nationality and Heritage Rooms to serve as cultural representations of ethnic communities in the Pittsburgh region. The fund was established by the Nationality Council, which represents the leadership of the Nationality and Heritage Room Committees, to commemorate the centennial and provide support for University of Pittsburgh undergraduate and graduate students' participation in intercultural learning experiences.
