University of Pittsburgh Staff Council

The mission of the University of Pittsburgh Staff Council is to represent the interests of, and advocate for, all staff at the University through engagement in the institution's shared governance apparatus, providing professional development opportunities, promoting University resources and benefits, and service to the community.

Established in 1970, Staff Council is comprised of over 100 voting members from across the Oakland campus who facilitate the work of the organization by communicating staff concerns and positives, disseminating information, representing staff interests on Senate Council, Board of Trustees, and Ad Hoc University committees, and networking with peers across campus.

We welcome all staff engagement as we strive to make a positive impact within the Pitt community. This year, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Frisch Staff Professional Development Award and appreciate your support.
